"A'vision in red' hardly describes our final artiste, female vocalist Lena Carole. An eye popping, head turning lesson in loveliness is probably more apt, but what good are good looks to an artiste if they don't have the talent to match? Let me put it this way, Keats once said that, "beauty is truth and truth is beauty", and the truth is that this beauty is immensely talented and that talent, teamed with a 'state of the art' sound system, makes Lena an increibly bookable artiste. Book her, book her while you can. I get the feeling that Ms Carole is going to be one very busy missy."

EASTER MONDAY AT CRADLEY LABOUR CLUB - MONDAY 9TH APRIL

Mon 9th...Lena Carole - John Santee. Our Bak Holiday nights entertainment started off with a DJ who had brought along about 30 line dancers. The lovely Lena Carole then graced our stage, providing everyone with 45 minutes of excellent singing. We then had a break for the bingo and Easter Bonnet Parade, which was a total success. After the raffle draw we carried on with the show. The second half brought John Santee to the stage. John has been 'treading the boards' for quite a few years now. He gave us a 'cracking' half hour of music and song which soon got the dancers moving. Lena Carole then returned to the stage for another excellent 45 minute 'spot'. To finish the night off for us, the DJ played the music and the line dancers took to the floor. Well done to you all and thanks for a fantastic night.

Wed 25th... Lena Carole. I had not seen Lena in a long while but, following report in 'The Circuit', I booked her on impulse. What a good night we had. She certainly 'perked up' our Wednesday a bit. Many thanks Lena.

St. MARY'S CATHOLIC CLUB - SUNDAY 27th MAY

Sun 27th... Lena Carole provided a superb night of excellent music for our customers this evening. She sang some songs that are not always heard in this club, but they went down well with most of the members. I'm, sure the new faces in the club will be back, after the wonderful night they had tonight. Thanks for everything Lena.
